Since the late 1950s, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Erie PA has held an annual appeal to take care of the larger ministries which define us Catholics: Education of our children, Seminary Formation for our future priests, outreach to those in need of physical and emotional support through Catholic Charities Counseling and Adoption Agency and many offices at St. Mark Catholic Center that offer support and guidance to our parishes.
Also, any dollars raised above our parish goal of $77,018 stays right here in our tri-church parish to fund our projects. This year, we are looking at the following projects:
Please keep these dates in mind----
The diocesan goal is very achievable if all parish families do their best to make a sacrificial gift. Remember, there is a lot at stake here -- we have parish projects that are necessary.
Please be generous to your Diocesan and Parish Church. Let's be people who respond with joy as we make our pledge to CSA 2025.
Welcome to our parish website!
If you are looking for a parish where the Catholic Faith is solid, and the heart of our people is warm and generous -- look no further than Our Lady of the Lake Parish.
We are one parish with three locations:
Our Lady of the Lake Church - Edinboro PA
Saint Anthony of Padua Church - Cambridge Springs PA
Saint Bernadette Church - Saegertown PA
We are a parish of The Roman Catholic Diocese of Erie Pennsylvania.
We strive live each day in fidelity to our triune God: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. We embrace Jesus as the Christ as the Lord of our Lives. We firmly embrace the Catholic Church's official teachings on the Holy Scriptures, the Sacraments, and the Traditions of the Church as illustrated in the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
Our Mission is the mission of Jesus Christ: To follow the will of the Heavenly Father with the blessing of the Holy Spirit.
The mission of Our Lady of the Lake Parish is to worship God and promote holiness of life through the celebration of the Sacraments, the sharing of the Gospel, the promotion of Catholic values and the offering of pastoral care through ministries that provide faith formation, healing, spiritual growth, and social outreach to the diverse communities of Edinboro, Cambridge Springs and Saegertown.
Under the care and patronage of Mary the Mother of God, St. Anthony of Padua and St. Bernadette of Lourdes, we, the members of Our Lady of the Lake Parish strive to live our baptismal call to holiness of life. Responding to the grace of the Holy Spirit received in the sacraments, we seek to become more like Jesus Christ who leads us to the Eternal Father in Heaven.
We accept as our religious and moral guide the teachings of the Church as taught by the Pope and the bishops united with him. ed by the example of the saints and mindful that we are stewards of God’s abundant blessings, we strive to practice the Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy as we serve those in need and build up the Kingdom of God in our midst.
Our church is led by our pastor, Father Mark Hoffman, and our deacon assistant, Deacon David Romanowicz. They work together to provide faithful servant leadership for our families.
Advising our pastor is our Pastoral Council and Finance Council.
We are "off-line" for livestreaming until we return to OLOL Church in late October. When we do, remember how easy it is to view our liturgies: Just click on the link to the right to go to the parish YouTube channel to watch livestream masses.
