Youth Ministry

Why Youth Ministry?

In 2018, it was decided that we would recreate a Youth Ministry program.  If we want our Church to have a future, we need to assure our young people share a love for Jesus, the Catholic Church, and each other!

Join us December 8th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm in the Social Hall!  We will be wrapping Christmas gifts for families in need, watching a Christmas movie, and enjoying John’s pizza and snacks!

Please join us for an evening of giving a little Christmas cheer to others, fellowship and worship with friends. Do bring a friend or two to join us! They do not need to be a member of our parish.  All are welcome.  We would love to see you!

Spread the word to friends and join us for our 3rd Youth Ministry event!

Upcoming events:

January 12th  from  6 to 9pm: Tubing at Mountain View!  Snacks will be provided!

February:  Glow ball bowling

We are using our Catholic Services Appeal (CSA) campaign this year to allow us to create a position on our staff for a Youth Minister.  If you have not already done so, please consider making a donation to CSA!  You can place your donation in the collection basket marked "CSA" or drop it at the Parish Office.

The mission of the Our Lady of the Lake Youth Ministry Program is to help our youth experience their faith among peers and to help them foster their personal and spiritual growth through a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith.  We will provide our youth with a safe, non-threatening environment where they can build community with one another, enjoy social events, and most importantly build a meaningful relationship with Jesus.
