Catholic Services Appeal

Since the 1950s, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Erie PA has held an annual appeal to take care of the larger ministries which define us Catholics:  Education of our children, Seminary Formation for our future priests, outreach to those in need of physical and emotional support through Catholic Charities Counseling and Adoption Agency and many offices at St. Mark Catholic Center that offer support and guidance to our parishes.

We again join our sister parishes of our diocese in striving to care for the shared ministries of the Diocese of Erie.  This year, our diocesan goal is $77,018.  

Any dollars raised above $77,018 stays 100% right here in our tri-church parish to fund our own parish projects.   Here is what we hope to do:

• Our Lady of the Lake Church:  Re-roof the Thrifty Threads building, along with other exterior repairs.
• Saint Anthony Church:  Replace the main sidewalk to the Church Center
• Saint Bernadette Church:  Address a list of repairs to the Church Hall

On the weekend of March 1st, our parishioners pledged their giving for this year, and now we are well on our way to making our diocesan goal.

There is a lot at stake here -- we have diocesan ministries and parish projects which are necessary.
